Account
Deleting your account
You can have your account and the personal data tied to it deleted at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.
How to request it
1. Inside the app (coming soon)
Settings → Account → Delete account. After confirming your password, the account is closed immediately and deletion begins. This option arrives in the next release; until then, use e-mail.
2. By e-mail
From the e-mail address registered to your account, send a message with the subject "Account deletion request" to hello@eroviya.com. Including your display name is enough; never send your password. If you no longer have access to the registered address, explain the situation; we may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
We confirm the request and close the account within 2 business days; data is deleted within 30 days at the latest.
What is deleted
- Account details: e-mail address, display name, password hash, e-mail verification records,
- Push notification tokens,
- Your connections and invite codes,
- Your identity in remote control session records,
- Your block list.
In your partners' connection lists the account appears as "deleted account"; your identity in their session records is anonymised.
What is kept
- Report records made about you or by you, with identities anonymised, for up to 12 months after resolution, to combat abuse,
- Records that must be kept because of a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute,
- Server logs (IP, request time) for at most 30 days; backups roll over within 30 days.
What stays on your phone
Your mixes, patterns, app lock PIN and settings are stored only on your phone; there is no copy on the server. They are deleted when you uninstall the app. To keep them, first export them to a JSON file via Settings → Mixes → Export.
Taking a break without deleting
If you just want to sign out, Settings → Sign out is enough; your account and connections are paused. Use your phone's notification settings to silence notifications.
